Sauk Creek Alpacas
Sauk Creek Alpacas raises huacaya alpacas just north of Green Lake, Wisconsin, in the heart of mid-Wisconsin's lake country, roughly an hour from both Oshkosh and Madison. The farm is owned and operated by Lynne R. Johnson.
Established in 2000, the program built its herd around some of the finest bloodlines available in North America, including lines tracing back to Peruvian Accoyo Caligula and other notable Accoyo and Peruvian-import genetics. The breeding focus has centered on dense fine fiber, calm dispositions, and solid conformation, an approach that earned the farm consistent recognition in the show ring over the years.
Those looking for alpacas for sale in Wisconsin will find that Sauk Creek Alpacas places a strong emphasis on mentoring and supporting new breeders alongside selling quality animals. In more recent years the farm has also shifted additional attention toward the fiber side of the business, with alpaca products appearing at area farmers markets and craft fairs throughout the region.
