Sarah Sanders

Sarah Sanders breeds Pembroke Welsh corgi, Shetland sheepdog and Shih Tzu in Hillsdale, MI, Hillsdale County and Detroit. With over ten years of experience, Sarah Sanders has refined her program to prioritize genetic health alongside temperament.

Her breeding program includes recommended health screenings such as hip and eye evaluations, cardiac assessments and patella examinations, in line with standard guidelines for each breed. Puppies are raised in her home with daily socialization, early training and plenty of human interaction, plus secure outdoor space for exercise. Each puppy receives enrichment through supervised play with older dogs, exposure to household sights and sounds, and basic obedience skills before joining their new families. Many of her litters find roles in family homes, therapy work and dog sports, reflecting their well-rounded upbringing. She maintains close communication with new owners to support each dog’s transition and ongoing well-being.
