Sanity's Edge

Sanity’s Edge breeds Ccara llamas in Fort Wayne, Indiana, serving small farms across Northeast Indiana. It has more than a decade of experience in selective breeding for temperament and conformation and is a longstanding registered member of the American Llama Association. All animals undergo regular veterinary screenings and their bloodlines are tracked with documented health records. Owner Jason Matthew has over fifteen years of experience in herd management and genetic selection.

The herd lives on pasture with daily turnout and receives early socialization through gentle handling and basic halter training. Animals from Sanity’s Edge have been featured in regional agriculture fairs and some are evaluated for therapy work. Their fleece is sought after by local textile artisans for its softness and durability. Their approach balances traditional husbandry with attention to individual animal welfare, reflecting a deep connection to family farming heritage.
