Rowe Wagyu

Rowe Wagyu raises Wagyu cattle on a 56-acre ranch outside Lincoln, Arkansas, about half an hour west of Fayetteville in northwest Arkansas. Earl and Annette Rowe — retired educators who came to ranching later in life — built their program gradually, starting with a single fullblood bull sourced from Crescent Harbor Ranch before importing six embryos from Bald Ridge Wagyu in Australia to establish their foundation herd.

The operation carries both black Wagyu and red Wagyu (Akaushi) genetics, along with frozen embryos and semen, making it a resource for buyers interested in DoonCool Wagyu cattle for sale in Arkansas as well as for producers looking to introduce or improve Wagyu genetics in an existing herd. Donor cows and sires are selected with close attention to pedigree, and animals in the program are tested genetic carrier free.

Small enough that each animal receives individual attention, the ranch sits on rolling hills with natural water sources and ample pasture. Both Rowes are on-site full time, which they note allows them to monitor the herd closely and maintain the hands-on approach that has defined their program since its early days in Gentry.
