Rockstaff Staffords

Rockstaff Staffords, run by Elizabeth Harris in Interlachen, Florida, has been producing AKC Staffordshire bull terriers since 1999, when Harris acquired her first Staffy and began building what would become a deep-rooted show and breeding program in central Florida, roughly an hour southwest of Jacksonville.

Health testing is a consistent priority across the kennel's dogs. Breeding animals are screened for L2-HGA and HC genetically, with many dogs also carrying OFA hip certifications and passing CERF eye exams. Several dogs in the program hold CHIC numbers, reflecting a commitment to documented health clearances for the breed.

The program has produced more than 20 AKC champions and grand champions, including dogs that have earned titles in rally, agility, barn hunt, and various AKC performance events — not just the conformation ring. Harris's signature stud, the multi-Best In Show and Best In Specialty Show Gold Grand Champion Rockstaff Celtic Guardian, was the SBTCA's top stud dog in 2022 and sired 19 AKC champions and grand champions during his career.
