Roche's German Shepherds
Roche's German Shepherds has been breeding German shepherd dogs in East Troy, Wisconsin since 2009, making it one of the longer-running programs dedicated to the breed in the southeastern part of the state, roughly an hour southwest of Milwaukee. Jeff Roche and his partner Rhonda grew up around German shepherds and spent several years studying top German bloodlines before establishing the kennel.
The program draws from West German lines, with foundation bloodlines including Zamp vom Thermodos, Remo vom Fichtenschlag, Odin vom Holtkamperhof, and Vegas du Haut Mansard — each of which has earned VA1 ratings at the annual World Sieger Show in Germany, the breed's highest competitive honor. The kennel is a member of the American Kennel Club and holds a BBB accreditation.
Breeding goals center on producing German shepherd dogs suited for family companionship, personal protection, and working roles such as search and rescue. Puppies are raised in the home to build early socialization, introduced to outdoor environments at four weeks, and the program emphasizes stable temperament, sound nerves, and structural correctness according to the German breed standard. Those searching for German shepherd dog puppies in Wisconsin will find that Roche's places dogs across the Midwest and beyond.
