Riverdale Ridge

Riverdale Ridge, Scottish highland cattle, Avoca, WI, in the Driftless Area near Madison. Lynn Salis Albrecht has been raising cattle for over 15 years and holds memberships with national breeders’ associations and the American Highland Cattle Association. Animals live in a pasture-based setting with access to shelter and year-round care, and rotational grazing supports pasture health.

Riverdale Ridge calves benefit from early handling and gentle socialization, which fosters calm temperaments suited to small farms and hobby ranches. Each calf arrives with the breed’s distinctive horns and thick coat, traits enhanced through careful selection for sound structure.
