Riven Rock Kennel, also known as Riven Rock Reds, breeds fox red Labrador retrievers and standard poodles in Gordonsville, Virginia, a rural community in the Piedmont region roughly an hour southwest of Washington, D.C. Shirley Gibbs operates the kennel as a home-based program, meaning puppies are raised in a house environment from birth.

The Labrador retriever lines are AKC-registered, with dogs DNA tested and genetically cleared of heritable defects. OFA health testing is performed on both sires and dams. Red standard poodles round out the program alongside the labs, making Riven Rock one of the few sources for fox red Labrador retriever puppies in the Virginia Piedmont area that also offers poodles from a home-raised setting.
