Riot's Retrievers

Riot’s Retrievers is a Labrador retriever breeder in Big Spring, TX in the Permian Basin near Midland. Operated by Heather Cooper, the kennel has more than ten years of experience and follows breed club guidelines for health testing, including hip and elbow evaluations and annual eye exams, with pedigrees recorded through national registries.

Puppies are raised in a home setting where they join daily family activities and explore a safe, enriched environment. Litter sizes are intentionally small to ensure personalized attention from birth. Each puppy receives a homestarter kit that includes a toy and a blanket carrying the litter’s familiar scent.

Heather focuses on gradual socialization, letting each dog build confidence through supervised outdoor play and early handling. This approach aims to lay a steady foundation for versatile companions suited to both family life and recreational work.
