Rhapsody Maltese

Rhapsody Maltese has been producing maltese in Buda, Texas since 1990, with owner Tonia Holibaugh building a program rooted in the AKC breed standard and active participation in the show ring both in the United States and internationally.

Located just south of Austin in Central Texas, the program operates under membership in the American Maltese Association, and Holibaugh also works as a professional handler of toy and non-sporting breeds. The breeding focus is on maintaining and continuing established lines rather than producing large volumes of puppies, with show potential evaluated before any dog is placed in a companion home.

Maltese puppies for sale in Texas from Rhapsody are placed only in approved homes, and all puppies are at least 12 weeks of age and weigh a minimum of two pounds before going to new families. The program has produced champion-titled dogs that have competed and earned titles abroad as well as domestically, reflecting a long-term commitment to the breed as both a show and companion animal.
