Reinem-N-Kennels

Reinem-N-Kennels has been breeding Australian shepherds in Ruther Glen, Virginia since 1998, when owner Monique Hetterscheidt first established her program in the state's Caroline County, roughly 30 miles north of Richmond.

Monique began showing her Aussies in 2013, and her program centers on producing dogs that meet the breed standard and perform across multiple venues — competitive conformation, performance events, and everyday family life. Extensive health testing, careful pedigree research, and collaboration with other reputable breeders have guided her decisions along the way.
