Rebel Wagyu

Rebel Wagyu, Wagyu cattle, West Monroe, LA, in the Ark-La-Tex region near Shreveport. Owner Phillip (Russ) Hobbs has over ten years of experience breeding wagyu cattle, following American Wagyu Association standards with regular genetic testing and veterinary health checks.

The herd grazes on coastal bermudagrass pastures with rotational grazing, and calves are socialized with family members for early calm temperaments. Rebel Wagyu operates a family-run farm where cattle have year-round access to shade, fresh water and mineral supplements formulated for steady growth. Rebel Wagyu beef has been noted at regional livestock shows for its marbling consistency and balanced flavor, reflecting traditions that began on the property decades ago.

It produces both breeding stock and feedlot-ready cattle, arranging transportation with local livestock haulers to ensure animals arrive in good condition across Louisiana and surrounding areas.
