Ranch Chalet LLC has been raising Australian shepherds in Athens, Texas for over 35 years, making it one of the longer-running Australian shepherd breeders in East Texas. Victoria De Hoff represents a second generation of the breeding program, continuing a family tradition built around producing standard-sized Aussies with consistent temperament and structure.

The program is guided by a deliberate selection philosophy: breeding for dogs that are calm yet have stamina, bonded to their families, and alert without being reactive. Ranch Chalet dogs have gone on to work as therapy dogs, search-and-rescue dogs, and competitors in agility trials. The focus is on whole-dog quality rather than show-ring appearance alone.

Registered with AKC, NKC, and ASAC, Ranch Chalet holds AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. status. All breeding stock undergoes genetic testing as well as hip and elbow evaluations. Puppies are placed only with individual families, not pet stores, and visitors are welcome at the facility.
