Quarter Lane Farm - QLF

Quarter Lane Farm - QLF is a goat breeder in southern Indiana near Louisville. Jared Combs has been raising goats for more than ten years, participating in the American Dairy Goat Association and following health-testing protocols recommended by state extension services—including CAE and CL screening—with detailed records maintained for herd management.

The herd lives on rotationally grazed pastures, with ad lib access to a ventilated barn stocked with fresh hay and mineral supplements. Does and kids receive daily handling that includes grooming, gentle hoof trimming and supervised play with livestock guardian dogs. Kids are introduced to family routines and handlers from the first week to ensure calm temperaments around adults and other animals.

The farm emphasizes sustainable pasture management and balanced feeding across both meat and dairy lines. Offspring from QLF consistently earn ribbon placements at local agricultural fairs and have been noted for their structural soundness.
