Pond Valley Labradors

Pond Valley Labradors has been raising Labrador retrievers in Wauseon, Ohio since 2000, making it one of the longer-running sources for Labrador retriever puppies in Northwest Ohio. The program is run on five acres in a quiet rural setting that includes a pond, giving the dogs regular access to water. Wauseon sits in the heart of the Maumee Valley, about 30 miles southwest of Toledo.

Nick Steusloff's program focuses on AKC-registered chocolates, though other colors are also produced. Puppies are whelped in climate-controlled rooms rather than barn settings and are family-raised from birth. The adult dogs' hips and elbows are certified through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, and all puppies are vet-checked before placement. Each pup is sold with limited registration.
