Pirouette Amstaffs (Since 1973) And Incroyableu French Bulldogs

Since 1973, Pirouette Amstaffs and Incroyableu French Bulldogs has been breeding American Staffordshire terriers in Minooka, Illinois, in Will County southwest of Chicago. Owner Heidi McClure traces the program's roots to her family's first American Staffordshire terrier, acquired from Storklind Kennels, and the kennel has grown from that foundation over more than five decades.

The program's stated goal is breeding for the total dog — balancing conformation, temperament, working drive, and health — producing American Staffordshire terrier puppies in Illinois that are capable in the show ring, competitive in working titles, and suited to life as a family companion. Lineage from Tonkawa Am Staffs, particularly through dogs tied to breeder Hendrix Harper, runs strongly through the Pirouette line, with an emphasis on hip soundness factored into breeding decisions from early on. Dogs are health and temperament tested and DNA profiled.

The kennel also produces French bulldogs under the Incroyableu name, rounding out a two-breed program built on the same quality-over-quantity philosophy that has guided the operation since its earliest years.
