Jake Nystrom has been raising alpacas for more than ten years as a member of the Alpaca Breeders Association, with regular health checks, parasite control, and routine vaccinations. The farm’s focus on natural fiber production includes combing and hand spinning demonstrations in the on-site studio. Alpacas live in open barn stalls with individual paddocks, allowing for close monitoring of nutrition and well-being. Seasonal shearing follows industry best practices for fleece health, yielding fiber prized for its softness and natural luster. Breeding pairs are selected for gentle temperament and strong structural conformation, reflecting a commitment to long-term herd health.
