Percussion Rock Alpaca Farm

Percussion Rock Alpaca Farm is an alpaca breeder in Spring Green, Wisconsin, in the Driftless Area near Madison. Owner Mary Margaret Lannon has dedicated years to breeding alpaca for quality fiber and gentle temperaments, and the small family farm now includes a diverse herd of breeding females and young crias. The herd is managed on rotational pastures with balanced nutrition, routine hoof trimming and annual vaccinations in partnership with local veterinarians to support growth, lactation and overall welfare.

Animals receive daily handling to encourage calm, sociable behavior, and facilities are designed to offer shelter and fresh water year-round. Each harvest yields fleece characterized by fine crimps and consistent micron counts, prized by local spinners and weavers.

Cria are introduced to gentle handling from birth, laying the foundation for friendly interactions and trust. Guests often note the serene setting and well-cared-for alpaca at this family-run farm.
