Peggy Condon
Peggy Condon raises dairy cross goats at Graceful Acres Farm in Pittsboro, North Carolina, a small farm situated just outside downtown in the Piedmont region, roughly 35 miles southwest of Raleigh.
The farm spans ten acres and takes a low-input approach to animal husbandry, avoiding inorganic pest controls, herbicides, and fungicides across the property. Graceful Acres also raises other livestock, keeping the operation diversified and the land actively managed. Families and hobby farmers in North Carolina looking for dairy cross goats will find this a working farm where animals are raised alongside crops and pasture in an integrated setting.
