Peace of Eden Farm

Peace of Eden Farm, Katahdin sheep, Fort Atkinson, WI, is located in Southeastern Wisconsin near Madison. Margaret Boshart has raised Katahdin sheep for over a decade with registered stock and routine health testing.

Each flock member grazes on rotational pastures and enjoys daily gentle handling to support calm temperament and robust health. The farm follows pasture based principles with careful monitoring of soil and plant health and onsite composting of bedding and manure. She maintains membership in the American Katahdin Sheep Association and follows its breeding guidelines for genetic diversity and sound structure. All breeding stock undergo scrapie genotyping and annual fecal testing as part of a standard health protocol.

Their lambs are recognized for easy care and lean meat qualities valued by both homesteaders and small scale farmers. Detailed pedigree records are maintained for transparency and to support informed breeding choices.
