Pandas Paradise Farm
Pandas Paradise Farm raises fainting (myotonic) goats on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, operating a 10-acre wooded property in Kitty Hawk — about 70 miles north of Wilmington and just outside the Kill Devil Hills area. Roxanne Dorman started the farm as a hobby operation in 2014 and gradually built a dedicated myotonic goat program from the ground up.
The farm's focus on the breed traces back to a single bottle-baby doe named Panda, who arrived in 2016 and inspired the investment in a registered breeding herd. By 2018, the farm had launched a formal breeding program with stock double-registered through the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR) and the International Fainting Goat Association (IFGA). A deliberate emphasis on preserving the heritage Tennessee black-and-white coloring has shaped herd sire selection from the start.
Kids are handled daily from birth to encourage calm, human-friendly temperaments, and the herd has grown steadily through careful retention of quality doelings each kidding season. Pandas Paradise Farm is one of the few sources for registered fainting goats for sale in coastal North Carolina, drawing from bloodlines sourced from established herds in Virginia and elsewhere in the state.
