Pacificrex

Pacificrex breeds Devon rex cats in Oak Bay, a seaside municipality within greater Victoria, British Columbia, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Kate Jordan runs the cattery under registration with TICA and the CCA (Canadian Cat Association).

The program works from champion and imported lines, and cats in the cattery live uncaged as part of the household rather than in separate enclosures. Health screening covers a broad panel that includes GSD IV, HCM, hip dysplasia, PKD, PK deficiency, PRA, and SMA, and all cats are tested FeLV and FIV negative. Kittens leave with a written sales contract, a genetic health guarantee, and a veterinary health certificate. The cattery produces Devon rex kittens in a range of colours, including chocolate, blue and white, cinnamon, and calico.
