Out Of The Woods

Out Of The Woods is a Great Pyrenees and Romanian Carpathian shepherd breeder in Everson, Washington, Whatcom County near Bellingham. The kennel has operated under Cheri’ Mckay for over a decade and holds memberships in the Great Pyrenees Club of America and regional guardian dog associations, following recommended hip, elbow and cardiac evaluations. Puppies are socialized from two weeks in a home setting where they meet family members, livestock and visitors to build confidence and gentle manners.

Adults live in well ventilated indoor runs with daily access to fenced pastures and supervised free play among the resident flock. Bloodlines include dogs with recorded conformation titles and proven working history on rural properties. Several litters have produced dogs appreciated as therapy companions in local senior centers. Each puppy leaves with a detailed care guide based on positive reinforcement and the breeder’s years of guardian dog experience.
