Onagain Offagain Farm LLC

Onagain Offagain Farm LLC has been raising alpacas in Spartanburg, South Carolina since 2010, when Karen and Juergen Kopp started their herd with nine animals and grew to twenty-one by year's end. The farm sits on six acres of private land in the Upstate South Carolina region, conveniently close to Spartanburg — an unusual setup tucked within a subdivision yet free of land-use restrictions.

The Kopps raise both huacaya breeding stock and fiber and pet alpacas, running the operation largely on their own with occasional help from family and neighbors. Their program is designed as a full-service experience, offering mentoring to buyers before, during, and after a sale, along with shearing services that specialize in small herds.

Beyond alpaca sales in South Carolina, the farm produces fiber products including yarn, roving, and felted goods made from their own animals' fleece. Agritourism is also a meaningful part of what they do — visitors can arrange farm tours, and the alpacas make appearances at weddings and other outside events.
