Ocerico Sloughis

Ocerico Sloughis, sloughis, Saint Charles, IL, in the Fox River Valley near Chicago, manages a thoughtful breeding program. Erika Wyatt has been breeding sloughis for several years and holds membership in the Sloughi Club of America. All adult dogs undergo routine health screenings for hips and eyes and live indoors with family, receiving daily interaction.

Puppies begin crate introduction at eight weeks and enjoy early socialization with children, other pets and various home environments. Training follows a positive reinforcement approach, focusing on basic obedience and calm confidence. Litters have appeared in regional lure coursing events, highlighting natural instincts. Each puppy stays with the litter until at least nine weeks, ensuring proper weaning and social bonds. All litters are registered with the American Kennel Club.
