Noa's Ark Alpaca Farm & Fiber Mill

Noa's Ark Alpaca Farm & Fiber Mill has been raising huacaya alpacas in Gainesville, Georgia since 2012, when Jack and Trish Noa started with six animals on four acres at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, about 60 miles northeast of Atlanta.

The operation has grown steadily over the years. Jack founded an on-site fiber mill in 2014, and by 2016 the farm and mill had relocated to a 10-acre property that the Noas continue to work today. The herd currently comprises around 15 alpacas, with a focus on huacaya alpacas carrying Peruvian, Chilean, and Accoyo heritage — lines selected for genetics, fiber quality, and temperament.

The smaller herd size is intentional, allowing more individual attention to each animal and a clear focus on championship-caliber confirmation and fiber. For those searching for quality alpacas for sale in Georgia, the farm also offers hands-on industry consulting and mentoring for new alpaca owners, covering herd management, farm layout, animal husbandry, and breeding guidance. The integrated fiber mill rounds out a fully self-contained operation that takes animals from pasture through to finished fiber products.
