Mountain Side Labradors

Mountain Side Labradors, run by Harmony Eastman, has been breeding AKC-registered Labrador retrievers in East Freetown, Massachusetts since 2009, with roots in the program going back to the family's first Labrador in 1996. The kennel sits adjacent to the 5,000-acre Freetown State Forest, southeast of the Greater Boston area, and all puppies are born and raised in the home rather than in an outside facility.

The program breeds both the American field type and the English bench type Labrador retriever, giving families in southeastern Massachusetts a choice of build and working style within the same kennel. Puppies are AKC registered, health guaranteed, veterinarian-evaluated at seven weeks, and receive at least one vaccination and multiple dewormings before leaving. Pembroke Welsh corgis became part of the program in 2023, with the kennel's corgi females health-tested clear for conditions including vWD, PRA, and DM before being bred.

A return policy is written into every purchase contract, requiring buyers to contact the kennel first if they can no longer keep a dog, reflecting a long-term commitment to each animal placed.
