Monte Cristo Corgi's

Monte Cristo Corgi's has been breeding Pembroke Welsh corgis in Carson City, Michigan for over 25 years, making it one of the longer-running corgi programs in the state. Carson City sits roughly an hour north of Lansing and about an hour northeast of Grand Rapids, placing the kennel in the agricultural heartland of mid-Michigan. Owner Sarah Wright and her family raise their dogs on 22 country acres, where puppies receive hands-on socialization from an early age.

The program focuses on AKC-registered stock with DNA health testing across multiple conditions, including DM, vWD, and PRA clearances on breeding dogs. The kennel has also produced AKC conformation champions and works from established champion lines, reflecting an investment in breed type and structure alongside health. Pembroke Welsh corgi puppies from Monte Cristo are placed into show, performance, and companion homes.
