Montana Marchador, marchador horses, Boulder, MT, Jefferson County and the Helena area. Lazy T. Smith and Tresa V. Smith are members of the Brazilian Mangalarga Marchador Breeders Association and have more than ten years of experience in selective breeding and health testing. Their horses are pasture-raised on spacious mountain grasslands situated at 500 Lower Valley Road, where they receive daily handling and socialization from an early age.

With a focus on natural gait and gentle temperaments, these marchadors are well suited for trail riding and light dressage. Foals are exposed to varied terrains to build strength, and mature horses adapt readily to family barns or professional stables. They breed in a high-altitude valley experiencing four distinct seasons, which contributes to resilient and adaptable animals. Owners often note the consistency of foal conformation and the supportive guidance provided during the early training phase.
