Modern Heritage Ranch

Modern Heritage Ranch is a breeder of Barbados blackbelly sheep in Atlanta, GA, in the Southeastern US near Atlanta. Irene and Boedy Pennington have been breeding for more than a decade, hold memberships in national sheep associations, and perform annual health evaluations to screen for common genetic conditions.

The flock grazes on open pastures with round-the-clock access to shelter, and lambs are socialized early to encourage steady temperaments around people.
