Minipupps

Minipupps raises AKC maltese and toy poodles in Spring Hill, Florida, operating as a home-based program rather than a kennel or commercial facility. Merari Barroso started the program around 2017 after the family's first maltese, Mia, became the foundation of what grew into a shared hobby with her daughters.

Puppies are never caged and have free run of the home's living areas throughout the day, with mothers whelping in the family's own bedroom. All puppies receive a full veterinary checkup and age-appropriate immunizations before leaving, and none are placed before eight weeks of age. The program covers both maltese and standard poodle lines, offering families in the Tampa Bay area a close-to-home option for either breed.
