Mindy Andes raises Nigerian dwarf goats under the MinsLiL1s name in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, a small community in Luzerne County about 20 miles southwest of Wilkes-Barre. Her program centers on breeding dairy crosses that excel in both milk production and conformation, with the herd enrolled in DHIR milk testing through ADGA and AGS via Langston DHI (DRMS lab). Linear appraisal has also been conducted on the herd, most recently in 2022.

Health testing is a consistent part of how MinsLiL1s is managed. The herd has never had a recorded case of CAE, CL, or Johne's disease, and annual testing for CAE and Johne's is ongoing. Kids leave with up-to-date CDT vaccinations, tattooing, and either an ADGA or AGS registration application or certificate. Mindy also bottle-raises the kids and handles disbudding and pre-departure worming as standard practice, with buyers offered the option to return kids for follow-up CDT shots and banding at no charge.
