Meemee Maltese

Meemee Maltese has been breeding maltese dogs in Bogalusa, Louisiana since 2011, making it one of the longer-running maltese programs in the southeastern part of the state. Owner Melissa Germain works with AKC-registered stock and focuses on show-quality lines tracing back to Korean champion bloodlines, with adult dogs imported from overseas.

The program aims to produce maltese puppies that meet breed standards, and Melissa selects pets from that show-oriented breeding stock. Bogalusa sits in Washington Parish, roughly an hour north of New Orleans, giving families across southeastern Louisiana a relatively accessible option for AKC maltese in Louisiana without traveling out of state.
