Mckee Family Aussies

Mckee Family Aussies is a breeder of Australian shepherds in Middletown, IN, serving Henry County and east central Indiana near Indianapolis. For more than a decade Mckee Family Aussies has maintained a breeding program aligned with American Kennel Club standards and performs health testing for hips, elbows, eyes, and cardiac health. It holds membership in the United States Australian Shepherd Association, fostering ongoing education in genetic screening and breed preservation.

Puppies are raised alongside adult dogs in a family home with free access to indoor spaces and a securely fenced yard. Early socialization includes exposure to children, household sounds, and supervised outings to promote confidence. The farm setting provides ample room for exercise, herding practice, and playtime in open fields.

Several alumni have gone on to agility trials, therapy work, and obedience competitions, reflecting the puppies’ well-rounded training. Mckee Family Aussies offers ongoing support and guidance as puppies transition into their new homes.
