Mason Awald raises Chianina cattle on a small family farm in Walkerton, IN, serving northern Indiana near South Bend. With more than a decade of experience, he is an active member of the American International Chianina Association, performs annual ultrasounds and genetic testing, and completes regular health screening on his herd. Calves are born in a spacious barnyard environment where they receive daily attention, early socialization and an introduction to free-range grazing.
