Maple Oaks Red Angus

Maple Oaks Red Angus raises purebred red Angus bulls and females in Tuscumbia, Missouri, situated in the heart of the Ozarks about an hour southwest of Jefferson City. The operation is a member of the Missouri Red Angus Association and focuses on producing red Angus cattle for sale in Missouri and beyond.

Bulls at Maple Oaks are developed at home on large pastures rather than in pens, giving them daily exposure to the rolling, rocky terrain and variable climate of the Ozark hills. Fescue serves as their primary forage, and development is managed slowly with longevity in mind. All bulls are BVD-PI tested, current on vaccinations, and have passed breeding soundness evaluations before leaving the farm.

The foundation of the herd is a set of highly maternal females selected for structure, udder quality, sound feet, and longevity — many cows remaining productive well into their mid-teens. The breeding program places emphasis on calving ease alongside growth and overall structural correctness, drawing on proven sire lines to complement the maternal base already established on the farm.
