The yorkies at Neer's Little Yorkies are raised inside the home as part of the family rather than in kennels or cages, a deliberate choice that shapes how each puppy is socialized from birth. All dogs receive regular veterinary care, and prospective owners are welcome to meet the parents — and in some cases extended family members — before taking a puppy home. Puppies are placed as both pets and show dogs, and each litter is registered with the AKC.
