Mandico Cattle Company raises Highland cattle in Nottingham, New Hampshire, southeast of Manchester near the seacoast region. York Arico and Conrad Mandsager have been working with the breed since 2008, building a herd on the wooded Rockingham County farm.

The cattle are purebred and AHCA registered, and the program uses artificial insemination and very selective breeding to produce a consistent, durable, and healthy herd. Their registered highlands are selected for longevity, calm disposition, sound conformation, and capacity to improve herd profitability — traits that have earned the operation a broad following. Breeders across New England and in states as far away as Texas and the mid-South have selected their cattle for these proven traits.
