Loney's Alpaca Junction
Loney's Alpaca Junction has been raising alpacas just outside Lake City, Michigan since 2003, when Gina and Bill Loney started the farm with just three animals. Located in the heart of northern Michigan, about an hour east of Cadillac, the operation has grown to a herd of more than 50 alpacas, the majority of them home-raised through careful, selective breeding.
The farm runs as a hands-on, small-scale program, an approach that allows each animal to receive individual attention. Bloodlines and fiber quality are central to the selection process, with a consistent emphasis on conformation. All alpacas at Loney's Alpaca Junction participate in the AOA EPD calculation process, giving buyers a data-backed look at each animal's genetic potential.
Those searching for alpacas for sale in Michigan will find a range of breeding stock on the property, from females and yearlings to herd sires. The farm also keeps miniature donkeys alongside the alpacas.
