Little Creek Alpacas

Little Creek Alpacas raises huacaya alpacas on the banks of Little Creek in Havelock, North Carolina, a coastal community near Morehead City. Ken Bradley and his wife Bunnie have operated the farm since 2003, making it one of the longer-running alpaca programs along the North Carolina coast.

The herd traces back to foundation breeding with Aussie Rockford, one of the notable grey alpacas in the U.S., and has since grown through the careful addition of genetics from well-regarded bloodlines including Pantagonia's Compadre, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, and Peruvian Royal Fawn, among others. The farm's stated goal is to produce a moderately fine alpaca that sustains an average fiber diameter in the low 20s for at least five years — a specific, measurable fiber standard that guides their breeding selections.

Beyond alpacas, Little Creek is also home to a parrot aviary specializing in African Congo and Timneh grey parrots, giving the property a distinct character as a working mixed-animal operation. Buyers seeking alpacas for sale in North Carolina will find a herd built on deliberate, multi-generational breeding decisions rooted in fiber quality and bloodline depth.
