Little America Miniature Horses

Little America Miniature Horses has been part of the Greaves family story since the early 1960s, when Tony Greaves first began working with small-statured horses on the family's central Texas property in Buda. The program's roots trace back to 1963, when the family's first miniature-sized pony was born, and when the American Miniature Horse Association formed in 1978, that original horse became one of the first registered with the new organization.

Situated on rolling hills at the eastern edge of the Texas Hill Country, roughly eighteen miles from Austin and just off Interstate 35, the farm maintains one of the larger herds of AMHA-registered miniature horses available in the region. All horses stand 34 inches or under, with the smallest measuring 24 inches. The herd covers a wide range of coat patterns and colors, including appaloosas, tobianos, overos, palominos, buckskins, roans, and solid colors across both Arabian-type and quarter horse-type body styles.
