The program is run by Tiffany Laitner, whose background in dogs spans well beyond the coton — she began working with animals at age seven and went on to train dogs professionally, co-found a breed rescue organization, and show dogs across multiple breeds before focusing on cotons.

Tiffany began showing cotons in 2012, though her introduction to the breed came earlier, in 2008.
