Lassen View Alpacas

Lassen View Alpacas, run by Steve and Lin Murray, has been raising huacaya alpacas in Cottonwood, California since 1997. Situated in the northern Sacramento Valley, the farm sits within easy reach of Redding and is surrounded by the volcanic landscapes of Mount Lassen and Mount Shasta country.

The Murrays have concentrated their program on fiber quality and conformation, with an emphasis on producing alpacas whose fleece and physical structure reflect a consistent breeding standard. With more than two decades of hands-on experience raising huacaya alpacas in California, Lassen View Alpacas represents one of the longer-standing programs in the region.
