Lake-Breeze Kennels

Owner Debra Molkentin launched the kennel after acquiring her first Portuguese water dog in 1986, and the program grew from there. Delafield sits in the Southeastern Wisconsin lake country, roughly 30 miles west of Milwaukee.

Over the course of her career, Debra has finished numerous champions as a breeder, owner, and handler. She holds memberships in the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America, the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Greater Chicago, and the Flat-Coated Retriever and Water Dog Club of America. The kennel also raises Spanish water dogs alongside its primary Portuguese water dog program.

Puppies leave for their new homes already microchipped, vaccinated, crate-introduced, and socialized with people, children, and other dogs.
