Kristie Miller

Kristie Miller, goat breeder in Michigan near Detroit, has been raising healthy stock for over a decade. She began breeding goats after college and has expanded to a herd of more than 30 does with careful record-keeping on lineage and milk production. A member of the American Dairy Goat Association, she follows recommended health screening protocols for CAE and CL to ensure herd well-being.

Young does and bucks graze 50 acres of rotational pasture most of the year, rotating through fenced paddocks with access to clean barns in severe weather. Each animal receives routine hoof trims, vaccinations and a diet balanced for both forage and supplemental grains. Kids are socialized from birth, spending time in family settings to foster friendly temperaments. The farm’s rolling fields trace back to Miller’s grandparents, providing a centuries-old agricultural backdrop that enriches each generation of goats. Each summer she hosts small farm tours to share sustainable goat-keeping practices with local enthusiasts.
