KJB Kennels raises border collies and Rottweilers out of Concord, North Carolina, just northeast of Charlotte in the greater Cabarrus County area. Kenneth Bennett founded the program around the idea that dogs should serve dual roles as both family companions and capable working animals. The kennel applies early neurological stimulation (ENS) techniques as part of its puppy development process, a practice associated with building cardiovascular resilience and stress tolerance in young dogs. All breeding stock is selected from quality pedigrees, with the goal of producing border collies and Rottweilers in North Carolina that carry both sound structure and stable temperament. Visits are by appointment only.
