Kimberly Havens raises Nigerian dwarf goats in Norco, California, operating under the name Elite Safehaven Hills as a small urban farm in the Inland Empire, roughly 35 miles east of Los Angeles. What began more than 20 years ago with a single pair of goats kept as pets and home milkers has grown into a purposefully developed ADGA-registered herd selected for both the show ring and the milk pail.

The herd carries genetics from well-regarded Nigerian dwarf lines including Castle Rock, Algedi Farms, Rosasharn's, Curbstone Valley, and Old Mountain Farm, among others. Kimberly refines her breeding decisions each year using the ADGA scorecard and the results of annual linear appraisal sessions, with the goal of steady, measurable improvement in conformation and dairy production. The program has produced finished champions and goats that have appeared on the ADGA Elite list.

Showing became a family endeavor when Kimberly's daughter began competing in 4-H in 2017, and Elite Safehaven Hills has been participating in ADGA Plus showing since.
