Kaufmann English Labradors

Kaufmann English Labs raises English Labrador retrievers in Cochranville, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Chester County, roughly 45 minutes southwest of Philadelphia. Owner Andrea Kaufmann returned to her hometown of West Grove in 2011, bringing with her two champion-line English labs from Germany, which laid the foundation for the program.

All breeding dogs are AKC registered and sourced from champion bloodlines, and each dam and sire must pass health clearances through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals covering hips, elbows, eyes, and congenital cardiac disease, with additional DNA testing beyond standard OFA requirements.

Puppies are raised inside the family home alongside Andrea's two children, who participate in daily care, brushing, and socialization walks. The program's goal is to produce family-oriented Labrador retriever puppies in Pennsylvania that stay true to the English breed standard — well-mannered, healthy, and accustomed to household life from the start. The dogs are treated as members of the family at every stage, from the breeding adults to the youngest pups.
