Katie Collins breeds goats in Bakersfield, California, serving the San Joaquin Valley. She has been raising goats for more than fifteen years and is an active member of the American Goat Society, with all animals undergoing routine health screenings, vaccination and hoof trimming. Her herd is kept on a 20-acre farm where rotational grazing supports clean pasture, and each kid spends daily time on open fields and is socialized by hand from birth.
