Joshua Garretson

Joshua Garretson is a breeder of Pembroke Welsh corgis in Tampico, IL, serving Whiteside County and northwest Illinois near Davenport. With over fifteen years of breeding experience and membership in the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, its breeding program emphasizes health testing and clearances for hips and eyes.

Dogs are raised on a family-run hobby farm where they enjoy daily socialization with children, cats, and livestock. Puppies receive early enrichment through varied sound exposures and gentle handling, and begin crate training and basic command work before joining their new homes. All puppies are microchipped and come with a three-generation pedigree.

Longtime collaborations with local veterinarians guide a pasture-based whelping area that supports early development and well-being. Several alumni have earned farm dog certificates and earned ribbons in local agility and obedience events, and are noted for calm temperaments and adaptability on working properties.
